Jack/Daniel Kinkathon

Entries must feature the Jack/Daniel pairing in some way, but threesomes and moresomes are cool too, and so are J/D UST, post-breakup J/D, etc.

For the purposes of this challenge, 'kink' is meant in both the dictionary sense of an unconventional sexual practice (however one defines 'conventional') and the fannish sense of a situation or trope that punches your particular buttons. [livejournal.com profile] eliade's List of Fan-fiction Kinks, Tropes, and Clichés is a great source of inspiration. So is the [livejournal.com profile] smutday comm (especially the art: and photography: tags). Also the kinks: tags at [livejournal.com profile] rounds_of_kink.

Post fics as comments to this entry.

You can title your fic, or use the prompt as the subject line, or use the kink as the subject line, or some combination of those.

If it's not clear from the prompt wording or fic title, PLEASE WARN FOR KINKS THAT POSE A REASONABLE RISK OF SQUICKING SOMEONE. In the subject line, if you can fit it, or at the very top of the comment. It's better to be courteous and overcautious than to upset someone. It's also nice to give yourself the freedom to go as far as you want to with your fic, secure in the knowledge that you provided a warning. We're here to have fun!

Some possible ways to handle the subject line (you don't have to do it exactly like this, just use your best judgment):

Breath-play
Kink/prompt by itself
Somebody needs a good spanking
Text of the prompt (tells reader it's a spanking fic)
An assignation in an SGC men's-room stall while Jack's invisible (watersports)
Text of the prompt + kink that might not be obvious from the prompt
Boundary Lines (Daniel asks Jack to wear his fingerless gloves) (knife-play, dubious consent)
Fic title + text of the prompt + kinks that aren't obvious from the prompt
Boundary Lines (noncon, erotic torture)
Fic title + kink warnings
Boundary Lines (multiple kinks)
Fic title + general warning (if the fic includes a bunch of kinks and you can't decide what's appropriate to warn for)
Boundary Lines (possible squick alert)
Fic title + general warning (if there's a good chance of squicking someone but you don't want to give away a twist)

Fic doesn't have to fit in one comment. Add more by replying to your original comment so that one link will bring up all the parts as a thread. Drabbles and microficlets are great too!

If you write something long or prefer to post to your journal, post a link to the fic as a comment to this entry (and please observe the warning courtesy then too, especially if you prefer not to warn in your journal).

Please write as many of the prompts as you're inspired to! You can also combine prompts, write the same prompt from different points of view -- whatever you come up with.

You don't have to use the prompts supplied. You can write your own kinky J/D scenario.

The unofficial deadline is December 1st, right after the Thanksgiving weekend in the U.S. The challenge will stay open until we hit the comment limit, but it won't be pimped out after the closing date, so make extra sure to let your flist know you've posted something new.

Daniel

Frustrating, brilliant, beautiful (whoa, where did that come from? - okay, yeah, undeniably), distracted Daniel.

Jack shoved back from his desk and his wholly unproductive hour of skimming the internet seeking inspiration and absolution in The. Perfect. Gift. for his irritable Archeologist.

There was never a shortage of reasons to be irritable in this bastion of "if it's not a big honkin space gun we're not interested" but this last mission, Jack knew, particularily grated at Daniels anthropoligical sensibilities. Due to the lack of technological resources, and the gentle but firm reminder from Hammond regarding budget restrictions, their welcoming celebration was cut short from what could have been a very satisfying meeting of cultures. Jack didn't always have the patience for these, but in this instance, he felt genuine regret, especially for Daniel, who had discovered the hallowed coffee bean plants a few clicks between the Stargate and the village. Trying to convince the Pentagon, however, of the importance of the eventual seeding of coffee in addition to humanity throughout the stars was a Lost Cause.

He arched his back for a satisfying crack, scrubbed his face with one hand, and with the other reached for the cooling cup of coffee on his desk. Taking a sip, he grimaced at the commissary's best offering "oh, that's just disgusti..." the sentiment hung in the air as an idea began to formulate. "That's it! Sweet!" What's the one thing that's guaranteed to make Daniel smile, or at the very least keep him from causing big marines to cower in anticipation of the morning stumble from the tent?? Coffee. God's gift to students, the overworked and underpaid, and apparently archeologists everywhere!

Daniel's love of the stuff was enough to cause a borderline orgasmic response to that first cup, and not a few uncomfortably sympathetic orgiastic twitches from himself, Jack thought. If he was honest with himself, which he'd flatly decided, all the way back on Abydos, that he would never ever be, one of the best parts of sharing a tent offworld with Daniel had been the bonus of being the one to deliver that first cup. But bringing this small bit of pleasure to Daniel, who deserved it so completely, could be weathered regardless of the voyeuristic thrill, and it's ensuing implications, with a bit of self control and a couple of perimeter walks... so be it.

Clearing his throat, flexing his hands with a flourish, Jack settled into a search with a purpose. How to acknowledge Daniel's contributions, ease the sting of a lost opportunity, and not give away his own secret longing (no, that's not right) desire (sheesh, that's worse) (oh, screw it, NEED) to bring a rare smile and the knowledge of belonging and appreciation to him on his upcoming birthday. They never celebrated the anniversary of that first mission, tied up as it was in all the ensuing tragedy and complicated pride/regret/anger/joy Jack knew it raised in Daniel, but he'd be damned if he missed this birthday!

Coffee. Coffee history. Coffee celebrations. Coffee ceremonies... "Aha!" the SF walking past the door at that moment started a bit, but was moved on briskly at a gesture from Jack. "Now, *this* is what I'm talkin about." Jack gleefuly printed off the instructions, less amused with the complicated process as he reviewed it, but remained determined. "Anything worth doing is worth doing right, Dannyboy" Jack exclaimed to himself, jumping when the unexpected response came from his doorway.

"Um, yes, Jack, that would certainly be true." Daniel offered. "But how did you know I was standing here... Special Ops training aside, you were pretty absorbed in whatever it was you were doing?"

Careful to hide the "reasearch", Jack, unwilling to admit that he talks to Daniel all the time, whether or not he's actually there, tried distraction 101. "So, Daniel, Whatcha doin'? Did you need something?"

"Nope, just stretching my legs and being amused by this sudden role reversal."

"Role reversal?" Jack asked as he shuffled his printouts into the general clutter of unfinished mission reports and other office detrius.

"It's 1400 hours and I know *I* haven't eaten lunch. The problem with getting used to you coming to find me, is I stop realizing when I haven't yet been, um, found." Daniel's amused grin began to deflate as he tried to interpret the slightly choked look Jack was giving him. But then it cleared, and a squint and a smirk later Jack offered "Special Ops skills, Danny...didn't even hafta leave my office to collect you this time!"

......................

After complaining about and then devouring every last scrap of the mystery meat, Daniel headed back to some translations for SG9, and Jack headed topside for the supplies he'd need the next morning. Daniel's birthday stuff was already ready, thanks to Sam and Teal'c. Everyone, including the General and Janet, were expected at Jack's later that night.

Deciding he'd need to keep the party going, and picking up a bottle of way overpriced red wine to ensure Daniel's need to crash at Jack's felt a little underhanded, but hey, Daniel may be frequently clueless, but was often equally hard to surprize. Jack felt a little guilty about keeping this "present" to the two of them, because, in reality it was meant to be shared with a whole tribe, "hey once I got it down pat we can bring it on the road and share with the "tribe" - without the performance anxiety" Jack thought to himself, shoving that unfortunate mental turn of phrase into the darkest corner available and shutting off the light on any alterior motives he could possibly be having.

Daniel, of course, arrived first at Jack's. There were standing orders to never have surprize parties for anyone on SG1, since there was plenty enough of that in every-day, and something planned, when it could actually happen, turned into a special treat all it's own.

"Well, Danny, another year older, another year... wiser?" Jack asked as he popped the cork from the bottle.

Daniel grinned enthusiastically at the label, sniffed the cork and made that groan of approval which never failed to get Jack just a little uncomfortable. In this relaxed atmosphere, with Daniel obviously pleased at something Jack, himself, had wrought, it brought goosebumps to Jack's arms and a hot flush right up the back of his neck.

"Well, I wouldn't say I'm any the wiser... how about a little less clueless?" replied Daniel, looking over the top of the glass Jack didn't remember pouring, so caught up was he in the pleased appearance and (god) noises from his archeologist. Daniel merely blinked at him, awaiting a reply, and looking, well, dammit, flirty for god's sake. Jack frowned, made it into a search for the taster's cork to place on the bottle, and turned to deposit it safely on the table.

Clearing his throat, Jack ventured "Less clueless, you say?" really not thinking about his words so much as trying to fill up a suddenly uncomfortable space of time till the others arrived.

"Ye-es, as in unable to see the obvious, seeking that which is in front of you, getting hit by the clue-bus?" With a waggle of the eybrows, Daniel took another drink of his wine, and turned toward the living room, crossing the floor. As he heard the first arrivals, he meandered to the front door to let the others in, while Jack found something really really interesting he suddenly simply had to do in the kitchen cupboards.

"What does he think he's playing at?" Jack asked himself silently. That declaration could've been so innocent, easily laughed off by either of them, but combined with that look and those eyebrows (how did he do that anyway) he'd made it clear there was *meaning* in there, if he had the nerve to look.

The wine and the not so clever machinations to make Daniel stay over were suddenly seeming like a Very Bad Idea. His intentions were honerable, honest! Ugh. He even sounded like a 5 year old with the hand stuck in the cookie jar inside his own damn head, how would he get Daniel to believe it? He wanted Daniel to feel appreciated, he never wanted him to know - what - that Jack got hot from the simple pleasures that passed Daniels face, that one genuine smile made his heart do something that might not be healthy at his age - argh, all of that, but especially that the "innocent" flirty look he'd just been on the receiving end of had gotten him horribly, irrevocably hard. Instantly. In all his vague musings, cut short for sanity's sake, Jack had never let it go there.. but there it certainly was.

When he'd collected himself reasonably, and smacked his head (purposely, for a good high color excuse) on the kitchen counter overhang, he straightened himself and turned to greet the incoming tide of well-wishers. Daniel took that moment while turned away from the others, to quirk a very small grin with his eyes sliding from the open cupboard up past his (what Jack hoped was a not distressingly obvious) controlled erection and met his eyes. Just a fraction of a second, but what he saw there undid him. That secret grin told him all he needed to know about Daniels "cluelessness" and his receptivity to what he thought he was discovering.

part 4

Jack dropped the plates he had retreived while cowering in the cupboards and they crashed rather satisfyingly on the floor as he dove back for cover to clean up the shards.

He could hear Daniel's laughter (not helping) and peeked over to see Sam's slightly puzzled grin, as the story she was telling was certainly not that funny...but she knew boys just laugh at each other when they drop stuff or get kicked in the nuts or something and it must be a "guy" thing. He returned to his task and was nearly finished when there were a pair of loafers in his periferal vision, and then Daniel was crouching down, behind the table to offer his assistance. "Damn it!" Jack swore, cutting his finger on an errant shard, and brought it to his mouth. Daniel's "Did you need any...." was cut off momentarily by the minor accident. As Jack sucked at the injury, the "..help?" was supplied, about an octave lower and accompanied by a look Jack *just* caught before Daniel backed away and made apologetic noises about getting a broom and did he need a bandaid?

"No, thank you Daniel, I think it's all taken care of." Jack replied evenly. He noticed Daniel's back to the kitchen as he fussed around cabinets looking for an unneeded bandaid, then Jack got hit with a clue bus of his own... Daniel was hard. Daniel wasn't just hard, he was so stiff, his pants were tighter in back due to the material being dragged up front! At this point Jack felt like the wolf in the cartoon, ready to pick his jaw up off the floor and fit it back into his face. Daniel. Hard. Because he was - oh - sucking on his hurt finger. This was going to be a really long night.

Finally out of the kitchen and into relatively safer territory, the rounds were made, the presents opened, the cake demolished (black forrest with brandy soaked cherries which Teal'c happily ate around) and the goodbye noises had begun. True to the original plan, Daniel had consumed a healthy amount of the wine provided, and noone thought anything about his decision to crash at the Colonel's for the night.

Thankfully, Jack thought, he really did put away most of that bottle himself, and didn't look ready for anything *but* sleep. Putting truth to that thought, Daniel flopped on the couch and in that miraculous way of his, went out like a light. Keeping in stealth mode, Jack turned out the lights, locked the doors and did a little light prep for the morning's festivities... this was good, this he could wrap his brain around, unlike the sleeping (damn he's really gorgeous like that, isn't he?) man sprawled on his couch...for the time being clueless to the world.

pt 5

As morning dawned, Jack debated the wisdom of going through with the whole Monty here (geez, anymore Freudian slips here and I'll qualify for a dress!) as the ceremony could take 30 - 45 minutes and that might be too much to ask anyone to wait for coffee - especially after the wine of the night before. But, it was all ready, and there was nothing left but to just begin. Although part of it was anticipation, Jack didn't have the heart to wake him till there was something worth waking for, so he put the pan over the charcoal on the grill and started the slow roast, oh, yeah, that was a smell that would wake someone happy. He glanced down at the white linen trousers and dress shirt he'd worn, the closest approximation to ceremonial garb he could, or would manage. The shirt had some colored bands running along the sides and at the cuffs, a gift from an aunt of nordic line, and it "felt" somehow ceremonial, or at least traditional.

Predictably the aroma lured Daniel from his sleepy confines on the couch and Jack was treated with one of his favorite pastimes.. watch the Archeologist awaken. Hair touseled from sleep, glasses askew and lips puffy, Jack was hit hard by how this "fondness" he'd talked himself into was a misnomer, and Daniel in the morning wasn't "cute" but damned. sexy. "Huh."

"Good mornin', camper!" "Please keep your arms and legs in at all times as we journey through the enticing land of Etheopian Coffee Ceremonies" Brandishing the skillet like he was an old pro, he stirred the coffee beans loose of their husks and continued the preparation. When the coffee beans turned black and shining and the aromatic oil was coaxed out of them, he began to grind them - with a pestle and mortar no less.

At his point, Daniel's silence could no longer be attributed to sleepyness, but outright astonishment. Looking around, he took in the tall coffee-pot arranged on a bed of grasses on the table, the small china cups. He recognized this ceremony for what it was, and the fact that Jack would go to this much trouble for him left him simply flummoxed.

Jack glanced up, saw the look and said "Now that's exactly the look I was goin for!" Smiling, he returned to his duty, and secretly decided that was a very good look on him.

"The ground coffee is slowly stirred into the black clay coffee pot locally known as 'jebena', which is round at the bottom with a straw lid." Jack quoted from his in depth instructions. "Sorry I don't have the real thing available" Pulling out a sieve, he carefully strained the result through several times.

Gracefully pouring a thin golden stream of coffee into each little cup from a height of one foot (more or less) without an interruption, Jack wordlessly handed one to Daniel. As he took his first sip, before the anticipated reaction, Jack offered a quiet "Happy Birthday, Danny." wincing a little at the nickname, but figuring he might get away with it under the circumstances.. and then it was show time! Daniel breathed in the heady aroma, got a nearly ecstatic look on his face and drank. The response wasn't an mmmmm or an ooooh, more like a growl with little moan thrown in, and Jack had a moment of trying to remember that it was Daniel's gift, and not his own.

part 5

"Wow. Jack, I don't know what to say.. this is just..just.. wow." He got up to offer a hug of thanks and Jack clumsily accepted it. As Daniel reseated himself he heard Jack muttering. "What did you say, JacK?" Daniel asked. An eyebrow raised in query.

"Buna dabo naw" said Jack. "It means.." but was cut off by the scrape of the kitchen chair and an assault on ALL of his senses by one grateful, and apparently extremely turned on, Daniel.

"I know what it means" Daniel breathed into his ear, one hand on Jack's neck, the other gripping the counter behind him. "say it again."

"Buna dabo naw?" Jack practically squeaked out, as Daniel shivered and pressed his long frame right up against Jack, who had now, no more chance of hiding his reaction to Daniel's reaction than a snowball's survival in hell.

"An intricate cultural custom, hot coffee, hot colonel, *and* a foreign language? Could you hit more kinks with a two by four?" Daniel growled, absolutley growled right in Jack's ear, and if he wasn't hard already, he would've stood up to full attention at that sound.

"Um, you're welcome?" Jack manged to croak out. Unsure how he got pinned to his counter, but unwilling to move. Daniel took his hand from the counter and brushed the back of his knuckles along the hip of Jack's white pants, up over his hipbones, tracing the pattern of brightly colored cloth at his sides. Jack took an involuntary breath as his other hand came down from his neck to finger the light fabric over his shoulders and dip down to enjoy the obvious peaking of nipples through the nearly transparent fabric. Daniels hands continued to slide back up to cup Jack's face, fingers lingering in his hair, as he quietly said "But I haven't even thanked you yet".

Jack's world spun. Hoping he didn't have the deer in the headlights look he could just *feel* on his face, he tried to think of something, anything to say, but the moment was taken from him by Daniel, who leaned in, and with a strong scent of coffee and arousal kissed him to within an inch of his life. No soft, gee that was sweet, kindof thank you kiss was this. No, Daniel pushed hot and heavy into him, parting his lips, demanding and receiving entrance, and by the time Jack got with the program, had his hands in Jack's shirt and a thigh between his knees. Jack circled his arms around Daniel, one hand to grip him tightly behind the shoulders, the other swept down to the curve of his lower back, and after a moments hesitation, drew him in tightly and gave as good as he was getting. This may have been Daniel's idea of one helluva thank you, but Jack knew who really ought to be grateful here. Grateful for perfect muscles straining under his hands, thankful for soft but strong lips, tongue winding around his. True gratitude swelled up in Jack's heart, his soul, that another year "wiser" meant maybe a few less spent alone, certainly (regs be damned at this point) a few less celibate.

Jack drew back slightly, drawing Daniels lower lip into his mouth and biting gently, which generated another growl and then Daniel was in force of nature mode, and Jack gleefuly held on for the ride. Daniel could thank him all he wanted, but the only "your welcome" he was ever going to receive was "thank you right back".

I love that Jack's primary motivation is to make up to Daniel for that lost opportunity -- the consideration and affection in that impulse is lovely. And the 'coffee planet' and the Ethiopian connection are very cool, and I'm with [livejournal.com profile] etrangerici about the surprise-party line -- great bit of detail there, and so totally believable. Plus, wtg with the coffee kink -- I'm totally craving a cup now!

Thanks so much for writing. :-)
