part 5

"Wow. Jack, I don't know what to say.. this is just..just.. wow." He got up to offer a hug of thanks and Jack clumsily accepted it. As Daniel reseated himself he heard Jack muttering. "What did you say, JacK?" Daniel asked. An eyebrow raised in query.

"Buna dabo naw" said Jack. "It means.." but was cut off by the scrape of the kitchen chair and an assault on ALL of his senses by one grateful, and apparently extremely turned on, Daniel.

"I know what it means" Daniel breathed into his ear, one hand on Jack's neck, the other gripping the counter behind him. "say it again."

"Buna dabo naw?" Jack practically squeaked out, as Daniel shivered and pressed his long frame right up against Jack, who had now, no more chance of hiding his reaction to Daniel's reaction than a snowball's survival in hell.

"An intricate cultural custom, hot coffee, hot colonel, *and* a foreign language? Could you hit more kinks with a two by four?" Daniel growled, absolutley growled right in Jack's ear, and if he wasn't hard already, he would've stood up to full attention at that sound.

"Um, you're welcome?" Jack manged to croak out. Unsure how he got pinned to his counter, but unwilling to move. Daniel took his hand from the counter and brushed the back of his knuckles along the hip of Jack's white pants, up over his hipbones, tracing the pattern of brightly colored cloth at his sides. Jack took an involuntary breath as his other hand came down from his neck to finger the light fabric over his shoulders and dip down to enjoy the obvious peaking of nipples through the nearly transparent fabric. Daniels hands continued to slide back up to cup Jack's face, fingers lingering in his hair, as he quietly said "But I haven't even thanked you yet".

Jack's world spun. Hoping he didn't have the deer in the headlights look he could just *feel* on his face, he tried to think of something, anything to say, but the moment was taken from him by Daniel, who leaned in, and with a strong scent of coffee and arousal kissed him to within an inch of his life. No soft, gee that was sweet, kindof thank you kiss was this. No, Daniel pushed hot and heavy into him, parting his lips, demanding and receiving entrance, and by the time Jack got with the program, had his hands in Jack's shirt and a thigh between his knees. Jack circled his arms around Daniel, one hand to grip him tightly behind the shoulders, the other swept down to the curve of his lower back, and after a moments hesitation, drew him in tightly and gave as good as he was getting. This may have been Daniel's idea of one helluva thank you, but Jack knew who really ought to be grateful here. Grateful for perfect muscles straining under his hands, thankful for soft but strong lips, tongue winding around his. True gratitude swelled up in Jack's heart, his soul, that another year "wiser" meant maybe a few less spent alone, certainly (regs be damned at this point) a few less celibate.

Jack drew back slightly, drawing Daniels lower lip into his mouth and biting gently, which generated another growl and then Daniel was in force of nature mode, and Jack gleefuly held on for the ride. Daniel could thank him all he wanted, but the only "your welcome" he was ever going to receive was "thank you right back".

Buna dabo naw is from an Etheopian proverb which means "coffee is our bread"
