This was creepier and less schmoopy in my head.

Here's Daniel, without a clue, first kiss. And he's barely comprehending it, but he's going along with it, though his motivations are not clear and his feelings are definitely mainly confused surprise.

I did not communicate the ambiguity well. Ah, well. That's what happens when you write something in 20 minutes before work. I'm still glad that people like it for what it is. :)

Well it is very one-sided at the moment. But Sam's comment, Teal'c's unsurprise and, really, Daniel's smile and the fact that he didn't just jerk back and say, "What the fuck!" all point to something very much welcome -- on some level. You'll have to get the Daniel in your head to not be so subconsciously already in love with Jack if you want creepy. :-)

You know, *THAT* can be a ficlet all by itself...

Jack and Daniel go to 'make-out' point to do some stargazing and one too many dirty jokes later, Daniel's got his tongue down Jack's throat and Jack has his hand down Daniel's pants and then Jack does something he hasn't done since he was a teenager in the backseat with the prom queen. Jack's pants are wet and sticky, Daniel is still hard and all Jack wants to do is take a nap and when he yanks just a little TOO hard at Daniel trying to hurry things along, he gets a not too happy growl for his efforts. Jack looks down at the offended organ and decides to make it better. He bends down, placing a tiny kiss at the tip and grins when that wins him, not another growl, but a tiny whimper. Oh yeah, prom queen never made sounds like *that* after Jack the misfortune of being to quick for her.

I'm not sure how you can configure these things so that people know when comments have been posted. Like, I know over on SG1_fic_trees I think I have it so that I know when somebody posts comments...hrm...now I'm not sure what I have it set to. *goes look*
